So the Mangin family's little girl showed up happy and healthy and I think big sister was so gentle with her. I couldn't have asked for more cooperative subjects than big sister and her new baby sister. Miss T lasted a whole two hours for portraits and her big sister Miss E was so cooperative for each portrait we asked her to pose in.

Stacey and I met through a Mommies group over a year ago and I started photographing her oldest as well. One of my favorite tutu shots is of her on my well loved teal suitcase, when she was a baby.

Well Stacey and her husband added another little girl to her family so I was fortunate to take some portraits of their new little girl. She is a little over two months old in these portraits and such a sweetie! We had to reschedule the sibling portraits as one of our models just wasn't in the mood. Funny, because my little guy has not been into taking pictures lately either!

Anyway, we finally got some great portraits of the girls together after we figured out that Stacey's oldest girl would sit still for a rendition of Elmo's World. Not totally on key but it worked!

Todd and I photographed Michelle and Andrew's engagement portraits a little over two year ago, and I was about 4 or 5 months pregnant at the time. I'm so grateful that we kept in touch and got to be their wedding photographers almost two years later.

Their wedding couldn't have run more smoothly and the weather was absolutely perfect. Certainly foreshadowing their long and happy life together. Here is a sneak peek of their wedding day.

Viva and I met through a Mommies group over a year ago and we've kept in touch mostly through taking portraits of her oldest. When she contacted me recently so say that they've added to their family, I was so excited. They are such a gorgeous family that it wasn't hard to get some amazing family portraits.

I love photography this family! I've been photographing them for almost three years now, and when Gina contacted me to tell me she was pregnant, I was so excited!

They are expecting their new little girl within a few weeks now, and I'm looking forward to taking portraits of her too.

I was so excited when Steve told me he was a pilot and could get us access to the airport! I've always wanted to shoot around airplanes because they're just so darn cool, so this was an amazing opportunity. Steve mentioned that this is his dream job too. It's always nice to hear that someone loves what they're doing!

I also found out that Karen graduated from the same high school as me, just a few years later. What a small world! I look forward to shooting your wedding you two!

This past Saturday I held a big portrait event and with the help of my friend Sara, we got some great portraits of Yahaira and Damien who are expecting a little girl in August. My husband and I practiced the setup the night before, and got some fun shots of us with our little guy.

Unfortunately a lot of people got sick or had sick kids, so I'll be rescheduling with them at a later time. Here are a few shots from Friday and Saturday.

This past weekend Todd and I took advantage of a much needed getaway to the beach with our baby boy. Fortunately, it was also a business trip so we'll reap the benefits come tax time next year. A female photogapher's group on Facebook called CeFloFePhos (Central Florida Female Photographers) has two weekend retreats a year and this one was planned for Siesta Key, Florida. Being that this is my favorite beach area, I jumped at the chance.

Todd, Dylan and I went up a day early to get lots of beach time in, especially since this was Dylan's first trip to the beach. He absolutely loved it and we had to pry him from the sand!

There were also lots of shoots planned which I got to attend a couple. Here are a few shots from those including one of Todd and Dylan on the beach as we take portraits of models in wedding dresses.

Bratwurst, German beer songs and alphorns were abound at this company picnic. Held at the German American Association's beer garden, the yummy smells and sounds of Germany filled the air and fed and entertained the lucky guests. Cramer and Rauchegger have been holding their company picnic here for the last few years and they had quite a turnout of guests for this big picnic. I had the fun part of documenting all of the fun and silliness. Thanks for hiring me to document your fun and fabulous picnic Scott and Tom!

While we were in Tampa visiting my family for Easter, Todd and I went out to take some family portraits. There's a great open space just down the road where a new development is going in, and I've been wanting to use it for portraits for quite some time. Big grassy fields have something really special that makes people stand out in their portraits. Plus it feels so warm and inviting!

Anyway, Todd took these portraits of me and my little man and I couldn't be happier. My favorite is going up on our wall as soon as it's delivered!
