Anastasia and I met through a Mom's group a few years ago, and we've been keeping in touch ever since. I've been photographing her family for a couple of years, and this was our last photo session before they decided to stay in North Carolina. I photographed Katy and Matt last November before this little guy showed up. Well she sent me a text message before Christmas that Carter had arrived and it was time to take his newborn photos. A few days after Christmas, I went to their home to meet the new family. The little guy was awake for all of the family portraits and we had quite a few accidents before he settled down into a nice sleepy state for his solo portraits. I'm really happy with how beautiful their portraits turned out. Congratulations again you two!

This little guy showed up a bit early, so I had to wait for him to come home from the hospital before I could meet him. But, he was totally sleepy the entire session and still so little!

Congratulations again Christy and Adam. You all make a gorgeous family.

Katy and Matt are the sweetest people and I was so happy she contacted me to do her maternity portraits. We met at Rollins College and then headed over to Park Avenue to take some more fun portraits. I've also already met their new little man and took his newborn portraits as well. Those will be posted soon!

I love it when I have a sleepy newborn like little Ethan. He was all too content to stay asleep for most of the session. I just adore how soft and pretty the light was when we were taking the Mommy and Daddy portraits. So beautiful!

I was so nervous and ecstatic when Amanda Keefer contacted me about sending in an image for Fox 35 News. She mentioned that Chrissy Allen, co-founder of PLAYGROUND Magazine was looking to use this image of Amanda and her family, in a segment about holiday family portraits. I was so nervous the next morning as we had the news on in the background, as we tidied up the house a little for my parents' visit that day. I almost thought my image didn't make it into the story and I had put my iPhone up and closed the camera app, as I had planned to snap a pic. Well lo and behold the image came on last during the segment and I quickly grabbed my iPhone to grab a pic, which turned out fuzzy but I was so excited I didn't care. I didn't get to meet Robin's beautiful new twins until they were about three weeks old, so I wasn't sure how sleepy they would be, but they proved me wrong! Both of the girls were fabulous models after they were nice and cozy. I think they liked staying snuggled up as most twins do and were quite content to sleep and let me move them into different poses. I'm so happy that I got to photograph these beautiful babies!

I absolutely love photographing this family! They are so adorable and make for the most gorgeous subjects. Jonathon and Noel wanted baby number three's gender to be a surprise, so how happy do you think they were when he came out a boy! Jonathon has now guessed all three kiddos gender's correctly. So much for the old saying about Mommy's instinct! They are such a happy family and I always hope the best for them.

I've been photographing the Mangin family for over three years now and have watched their family grow with the addition of their second little girl last year. Gina contacted me recently when her second was turning one to do some family portraits and take her one year old portraits. Time flies by so fast when they're little! We headed over to one of Walt Disney World's resorts for some fun family portraits. It's one of my favorite places to take portraits the the lucky kiddos were headed off for more fun at Downtown Disney afterward. Thank you Gina for being such a valued client and I look forward to seeing you all again next year!

I love Canada! So any opportunity to talk about it or meet someone from there, I'm all over it! Shannon is a fellow photographer from Edmonton, Alberta and she contacted me to say they were visiting Disney and needed to get some family portraits done. I know how hard it is to take time for your own family as a photographer, so I was more than happy to help. We had such a great time at one of the local Disney resorts.

Isn't she tiny for being pregnant with twins? In fact, a Mom walked by and asked how far along Robin was, and was surprised to hear that she was pregnant with twins! Anyway, Robin and Gerry were expecting identical twin girls which I was all too excited about! I just recently took the babies' portraits this week, and will post some of those very soon!

This is one of my favorite families to photograph because they are so sweet together! I'm a little behind in my blog posts, because little man is already here, but I definitely needed to post these adorable pictures of Mommy-to-Be and her adorable family. I can't wait to share portraits of their new little boy. Jonathon was all too excited when they found out it was a boy. He's guessed the gender of all three correctly and they wanted this one to be a surprise too.
